In celebration of School Counselor Week, South Central Elementary School would like to express a great big "THANK YOU" to Mrs. Kelley.
Mrs. Kelley has worked as the SCES counselor for over 15 years. Mrs. Kelley spends her days working with students and supporting teachers. Mrs. Kelley conducts monthly lessons in each classroom covering various topics. Mrs. Kelley has served as the Honor Society sponsor for over 10 years. She has also been active in various ways at SCES including spell bowl, math bowl, and yearbook sponsor. She has assisted in developing the Minds in Motion course for all students. She enjoys being able to eat lunch with all students throughout the year. Annually, she coordinates programs like Red Ribbon Week, College Go Week, and Career Exploration Week.
Mrs. Kelley is a tremendous resource to the staff and students at SCES. So, the next time you see Mrs. Kelley be sure to thank her for all of her hard work and dedication.
