There are several important dates coming up over the next couple weeks:
Grandparents/Special Person Day is coming up on September 12. If you haven’t sent in a paper to your child’s teacher with the names of those coming in, please do so. Let your child’s teacher know if you need another copy.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on September 13. Please make sure you have scheduled with your child’s teacher AND remember that students will not be in school that day.
School Picture Day will be September 14. Please return the order forms or you can order online at https://inter-state.com/FlyerEntry/68837JF
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held September 12-16. It will be open during Grandparents/Special Person Day. Kids will also be able to shop during their library and recess times. You can also go to this website to do an e-wallet for your child/children: scholastic.com/bf/sces5
Background Check Deadline is September 30. If you do not have a background check currently on file for the school you need to do so before the end of the month. Please go to shcsc.k12.in.us and click on “Family Resources”. From there click on the link “Volunteer Background Check Website”. Please call the school office to check if you currently have a background check on file.
