Our 6th grade students took a step back in time with a visit to the White House Church Cemetery. Just as Charles Dickens once drew inspiration for the name Ebenezer Scrooge from an old gravestone, our young writers explored the historic headstones to spark ideas for characters of their own. The peaceful setting and stories etched in stone gave them a unique way to connect history with creativity, turning the past into fuel for their imaginations.
