Congratulations to our girls track team for winning the Claws Out Classic today! The boys came in a close second. We had so many athletes with a PR today and Cooper Engleman beat the school record in the 200 meter hurdles with a time of 29.99! Way to go athletes, coaches and volunteers who made today such a success!

Come out and watch them compete one last time at home against Borden, Eastern, Highland Hills, Lanesville, Madison, and Silver Creek. Admission is $5...school age and up.

The golf team came in 4th out of 9 team in the MSC tournament last night at Cherry Valley. They scored a 159 which is a team best! Our leading golfers were Sawyer Gerdon who shot a 34, Brody Byrd shot a 37, and Cayden Baelz shot a 40. Great job golfers and coach!

Corydon Central Junior High School will be hosting its annual Open House on Wed., July 29, 2026, 3:30-6:00pm in the CCJHS Gym. If your business or organization would like to set up a booth for the "Back-to-School" Fair during the Open House where kids (& their families) can be helped in different ways, please email
wisemanjen@shcsc.k12.in.us (subject: "Open House"). Here are some examples of the types of booths we're looking for:
- school-sponsored clubs (Student Council, FCA, Campus Life, etc.)
- hair stylists, clothes closet (free/discounted haircuts)
- area businesses (school supplies, giveaways, engaging activities, etc.)
- doctors (think physicals)
- dentists/orthodontists (think future patients)
- churches (games, giveaways, info.)
- community & civic members/groups (games, giveaways, info.)
- student/family-friendly vendors (games, giveaways, info.)
If possible, please RSVP by Fri., May 22.

Corydon Central Junior High School end of the year awards ceremony will be on May 27th. 7th grade awards will begin at 8:30 and the 8th grade awards will begin at 12:30. NJHS inductions will also take place during this time.
The A and A/B Honor Roll awards will be based on grades from quarters 1-3.
