The best learning is by doing. ⚙️ 💪🏼 ✅ Whether teaching a topic to your peers or figuring out how something works by trial and error, doing is a great way to not just learn “the thing” but really understand it.
Students, staff and community members have come together in a beautiful way this week to honor, remember and process the loss of Bryce. It’s brave to grieve and our students led the way this week taking moments to talk with counselors, regulate their emotions with therapy dogs and share memories of Bryce with one another. 💙

Science class has many hands-on learning labs where students take complex ideas and see them work out visually. 🥼 Being able to ACTUALLY SEE what Ms. Lawson is talking about and manipulate those variables helps our CCJHS students understand the concept better. Plus, with an M&M lab there's a sweet treat involved!! 🍫
