Welcome to Corydon Elementary School
It is our goal to work with parents, teachers, educators, and community members to provide the best educational opportunities for students of all backgrounds and abilities. We want our school to reflect this cooperative relationship and the role that all stakeholders play in ensuring student success.
While Corydon Elementary is a fairly large school, serving over 650 students in grades PK-3, we strive to make it feel like a family environment. Everyone works closely together to support the needs of individual students. We strive to teach our students self-regulation strategies and provide social and emotional learning opportunities to support the needs of the whole child. We provide differentiated instruction to support all students of all abilities.
Corydon Elementary realizes that we are providing the foundational skills for the rest of your child's educational career. We take this responsibility very seriously. We want to include our parents every step of the way through consistent communication and making information more easily accessible and organized. This site reflects our continued efforts to communicate effectively and transparently about events, activities, and instructional practices.
